Bismillah was shalatu was salamu ' ala Rasulillah, wa ba'du,

Everyone who has ever sinned, had a chance to get forgiveness when repent to God. Any form of sin, of any quality of his sin.

God says,

Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah . Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful."

Most scholars of tafseer said, this verse gives greatest hope for the servant.

Al-haafiz Ibn Katheer said,

This noble verse is a call to all builders immoral, either both unbelievers and others to repent and return to God. And contain information that God forgives all sins for those who want to repent and return to God's way. Any form of sin, though very much, as much of the froth of the sea. (Tafseer Ibn Katheer, 7/106)

No exception in the sin of adultery. God opened up an opportunity for the offender to repent.

How to Repent from Zina
Then how do I repent from adultery?

There are several stages that could be done,

[1] Regret in earnest against the mistakes he did

And even that is the core of repentance. The Prophet Sallallaahu ' alaihi wa sallam said:

النَّدَمُ تَوْبَةٌ

Regret is the nature of repentance.
(Narrated by Ahmad 3568, Ibn Maajah 4252 and classed as Saheeh by Shu'ayb al-Arnauth).

To be sorry, you don't have to wait for caught or humiliated in front of other people. Regret can do when he feels have acted very stupidly, with the excuse that he did.

The shadow of immoral pleasure may still ring. But he must be opposed with sadness.

[2] Leaving the sin of adultery and all the triggers of adultery

The consequences of the sin of adultery is leaving the sins of adultery and all its triggers. He should avoid being away from her zina couples, except after marriage.

[3] Determined not to repeat the sin of adultery

Emphasize that sin is dangerous. Because it can prevent you from getting what you want, sooner or later.

[4] Approach yourself with much worship to God

Hope this helps to abort sin. Because obedience can remove sin sinners.

Allah says,

"And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember. "

[5] look for a good environment

Find a good friend who can guide you to be a good muslim. Because of the environment could be the greatest influence for our lives. You can go yourself to the study of religion. Hopefully this can drain the dirty atmosphere arising immersed in your thoughts.

Including trying to memorize the Quran. This could be the most effective way to get rid of dirty thoughts.

Any human being, if not preoccupied with good things, he would choose the bustle on the bad things.

Go yourself with good, hopefully can be a fortress for you to do immoral.

[6] Keep it a secret ... keep it secret ...

Keep this secret to anyone until death ... Keep it private even with the people closest to you.

Telling this to others will create new problems. Save this for yourself, because others do not have the benefit of it.

The Prophet sallallaahu ' alaihi wa sallam said:

مَنْ أَصَابَ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْقَاذُورَاتِ شَيْئًا فَلْيَسْتَتِرْ بِسِتْرِ اللَّهِ

"Who suffer calamities immoral like do this kind (Adultery), should he hide it, with the confidentiality that Allah gives." (Narrated by Maalik in Al-Muwatha ', no. 1508)

Al-haafiz Ibn Hajar said,

Based on this case - shahabat Maiz who confesses to adultery - indicates that recommended for people who fall into the case of zina to repent to Allah Ta'ala - and cover up his faults, and not tell anyone.

Then he says,

And this is also confirmed as-Syafii Radhiyallahu 'anhu , he said,

I love for people who have committed sinful deeds, then sin is kept secret by God, so he keep his sin secret and seriously repent to God ... (Fathul Bari, 12/124).

Should the stoning and the whip as punishment?

The punishment in the world, such as whip or stoning, can be a kaffarah for the adulterers. But this punishment is only possible by the state. However, this penalty can only be enforced by the State. While individuals or private institutions do not have the authority to carry it out.

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,

Whoever has done this sinful act then he gets punishment in the world, then the punishment will be kaffarah for him. And whoever has done it, and Allah abhors his immorality, then his business returns to God. God can forgive or punish him according to His will.
 (Narrated by Bukhari 18).

This hadith indicates that those who have committed adultery, if they want their repentance is accepted, they are not required to be punished by stoning or whipping. Because of the sin of adultery can be covered with punishment, can also jug with repentance. And in our country (Maybe), which allows only the second.

Thus, Allahu a'lam.
