Hajj Allah is obliged for those who are capable. Allah says,
"In it are clear signs [such as] the standing place of Abraham. And whoever enters it shall be safe. And [due] to Allah from the people is a pilgrimage to the House - for whoever is able to find thereto a way. But whoever disbelieves - then indeed, Allah is free from need of the worlds. "
People who already have the ability to hajj, it must register hajj immediately. And should not be delayed.
The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,
(Hurry away) go to Mecca (for hajj), because you do not know, maybe there will be pain barriers or other needs.
(Abu Nua'im in al-Hilyah, al-Baihaqi in Syu'abul Iman, and assigned al-Albani in Sahih al-Jami ', 3990).
If the fund is Limited, Hajj List for Yourself or Parents Prefer?
Hajj is fard a'in, a duty for every individual. Thus, both children and fathers, all got this obligation. Therefore, the scholars say, prioritize personal obligations, before helping others carry out their obligations.
Even if there are children who prioritize their parents' hajj, the status of the parent's hajj is valid.
There is a question raised to Lajnah Daimah,
Can a child dispatch his parent to hajj, and yet he has not set out for the hajj?
Answer Lajnah Daimah,
Hajj is the obligation of every independent, intelligent, baligh, and have the ability to travel to the holy land Muslim. an obligation once in a lifetime. Meanwhile, devoting to both parents and helping him to perform the obligatory, is a charity that is prescribed according to ability. It's just that you must perform the pilgrimage for yourself first, then you can help your parents, if the funds are not enough to dispatch all pilgrims. If you put your parents first for the Hajj from you, their hajj is legitimate.
Only belongs to Allah all tawfiq ...
(Fatawa al-Lajnah Daimah, 11/70).
Thus, Allahu a'lam.
