Among the ways of sacrifice taught by the Messenger of Allaah upon him, is to sacrifice independently or collectively. Cows can be sacrificed in a collective maximum of seven people, camels ten people. Although in order, camel sacrifice is more important than Cow for qurban. And cow sacrifice is more important than the sacrifice of goats. The argument is that the hadith about encouragement competes to attend Friday prayers.

Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said,

"Whoever takes a bath on Friday then leaves for the mosque, as if he sacrifices a camel, whoever departs at the second time seems to sacrifice a cow, whoever departs at the third time as if sacrificing a goat, whoever leaves in time the fourth seemed to sacrifice a chicken, whoever departed at the fifth time seemed to sacrifice an egg. If the Imam comes out, the angel is present (sitting) to listen to the dhikr (khutbah). "
(Muttafaqun 'alaih)

In the hadith above the first camel is mentioned, then a cow, then a goat. Shows that Animal Qurban is the most important camel. Because the price of camels is the most expensive compared to other sacrificial animals, so the sacrifice is the biggest compared to the sacrifice of cows or goats.

There is a fiqh rule that is very popular with regard to the reward of a worship,

إنَّ الأجر على قدر المشقة
The size of the reward, compared to the level of sacrifice when doing worship.

But the question is, between independent and collective Qurban, which one is greater in reward?

Of course, sacrificing independently is greater. Because people who sacrifice independently, he can reap all the rewards of the qurban slaughter in its entirety, in contrast to those who collective, worship and reward are for those who are members of the collective. While the core value of worship in sacrifice is to slaughter it, because of Allah 'azza wa jalla.

This conclusion was stated by Imam Ibn Qudamah rahimahullah,

والشاة أفضل من شِرْكٌ في بدنة ; لأن إراقة الدم مقصودة في الأضحية , والمنفرد يتقرب بإراقته كله ، والمنفرد يتقرب بإراقته كله

Sacrifice a goat independently more (greater) than a qurban camel collectively. Because slaughtering, is the purpose of worship in sacrificial worship. And people who sacrifice independently, he can reap all the sacrifices of sacrifice.
(Quoted from: Masalik Aujazul 10/227)

So if we order the model of sacrificing from the most afdhal:

1. A sacrifice of camels.

2. Then cow sacrifice.
3. Then goats.

1. Collective (max) ten people for camel sacrifice.

2. Then a collective (max) of seven people for cattle sacrifice.

So, hopefully helpfull.

Wallahualam bis shawab.

Rules of Qurban

Some Rules of Qurban

Below is a brief guide to the rules and recommendations of Qurban.

Qurban must only be performed on the tenth, eleventh and twelfth days of Dhul-Hijjah. You can order your Qurban before this time, but the sacrifice must be carried out on the correct day. The first day is always better than the second, whilst the second is better than the last.

Qurban is to be offered by those who can afford it and meet other specific requirements; you must be a Muslim of sound mind, mature (have reached puberty), not a traveller, and in possession of 52.5 tolas of silver, or the equivalent in wealth. It is not Obligated for child and the insane to practice Qurban, nor are their guardians expected to perform Qurban on their behalf.

When Qurban, charity doesn't substitute Qurban donations, not or does it fulfil the obligation. Donations must comply with the rules and restrictions of those countries receiving them.

Qurban that already sacrifices should be shared in three parts; one for the family of the individual offering Qurban,  then one for that individual's friends and relatives, and the last one for the poor and needy.

Goats, Sheep, Cattle & Camels; These are the animal eligible for Qurbani. However, Minimum age limits Apply.

Animal
Age (Minimum)
Goat
1 Year Old
Cow
2 Years Old
Camels
5 Years Old
Sheep
1 Year Old

Sheep (Minimum age 1 year old; a sheep aged 6-12 months  is permissible if they are strong,  fat and healthy enough to appear  one year old)

Then If an animal seller says that the animal you want to purchase is of the required age, and there isn't evidence to the contrary, you can take them at their word

Castrated animals are preferred, but not Obligated
The Animals that want to be slaughtered should be purchased a few days before the Qurban (slaughter), and they must be fed, nurture and cared

Ied Qurban

The following Animals are Not to be used for Qurban:
1) Blind, one-eyed or have lost a third (or more) of their sight
2) Missing a third (or more) of their ear or tail, either through loss or since birth
Those whose horn(s) have been broken off from their root
3) Those with one leg lame to such a degree that they are unable to use it to          walk on
4) Excessively thin or lean creatures
5) Weak animals That unable to walk themselves to the place of Qurban
    (slaughter)
6) Toothless animals, or those missing most of their teeth

Animals should be slaughtered quickly with a sharp knife, so they do not suffer. The knife is forbidden to be sharpened in front of the animal though, and no animal for Qurban should be slaughtered in the presence of another Qurban animal. Slaughtered animals are not to be skinned until completely cold.

The meat should be distributed to family, friends and the poor. If you perform Qurban with a partner(s), the meat should be shared by weight, not by approximation.

You can not and forbid to pay the butcher with the meat, fat and by-products of the slaughtered animal. The skin can be kept for personal use, but if it is sold, the amount must be given to the poor. once again, You cannot pay the butcher with the meat, fat, skin and by-products of the slaughtered animal, but you Can "give" that as a "prize" or "gift" for the butcher and NOT as a payment.
