Law of Nosebleed When Praying
Question :
Does nosebleed cancel prayer?
Answer:
Bismillah was shalatu was greetings' ala Rasulillah, wa ba'du,
Ulama have different opinions, whether or not nosebleed blood cancels ablution or not. As-Syaukani mentioned the khilaf between them,
وأما الرعاف فهو ناقض للوضوء، وقد ذهب إلى أن الدم من نواقض الوضوء القاسمية وأبو حنيفة وأبو يوسف ومحمد وأحمد بن حنبل وإسحاق وقيدوه بالسيلان
The nosebleed ablutions or cancels Wudh (ablution). Those who argue that all blood cancel ablution are al-Qasimiyah, Abu Hanifah, Abu Yusuf, Muhammad bin Hasan, Ahmad bin Hambal, and Ishaq bin Rahuyah. It's just that they give a limit, nosebleed cancels ablution (wudh) if the blood flows.Then As-Syaukani mentioned the second opinion,
وذهب ابن عباس والناصر ومالك والشافعي وابن أبي أوفى وأبو هريرة وجابر بن زيد وابن المسيب ومكحول وربيعة إلى أنه غير ناقض
While Ibn Abbas, an_Nashir, Malik, Syafii, Ibn Abi Aufa, Abu Hurairah, Jabir bin Zaid, Ibnul Musayib, Makhul, and Rabi'a all thought that blood did not abolish ablution (wudh).

And opinions that are stronger, if just a little nosebleeds do not cancel ablution or prayer.
Imam Ibn 'Uthaymeen was asked about nosebleeds, whether to cancels wudh ablution.
Answer him,
الرعاف ليس بناقض للوضوء سواء كان كثيراً أم قليلاً، وكذلك جميع ما يخرج من البدن من غير السبيلين فإنه لا ينقض الوضوء، مثل القيء، والمادة التي تكون في الجروح فإنه لا ينقض الوضوء سواء كان قليلاً أم كثيراً
الرعاف ليس بناقض للوضوء سواء كان كثيراً أم قليلاً، وكذلك جميع ما يخرج من البدن من غير السبيلين فإنه لا ينقض الوضوء، مثل القيء، والمادة التي تكون في الجروح فإنه لا ينقض الوضوء سواء كان قليلاً أم كثيراً

Nosebleeds do not cancel ablution, both large and small. Likewise, all who leave the body from other than 2 "Privat paths", do not cancel ablution. Like vomiting, or substances that come out of a wound, do not cancel ablution, both little and much.
He continued,
ولكن إذا كان يزعجك في صلاتك ولم تتمكن من إتمامها بخشوع فلا حرج عليك أن تخرج من الصلاة حينئذ, وكذلك لو خشيت أن تلوث المسجد إذا كنت تصلي في المسجد فإنه يجب عليك الانصراف لئلا تلوث المسجد بهذا الدم الذي يخرج منك
It's just that, if this nosebleed disturbs you in salah (prayer), and it is not possible for you to complete the prayer solemnly, then it doesn't matter when you cancel the prayer. Likewise if you are worried about polluting the Mosque - if you pray in the mosque, it is obligatory for you to cancel the prayer, so as not to pollute the Mosque with blood coming out.

Another fatwa was delivered by Imam Ibn Baz. He explained about nosebleeds when praying,
إذا كان يسيرًا يواصل الصلاة لا ينقض الوضوء، أما إن كثر فالأفضل قطع الصلاة؛ لأن جمع من أهل العلم يراه ينقض الوضوء، فيقطعها ويتنظف
If the nosebleed is a little, continue to pray and ablution is not canceled. However, if there is a lot of nosebleeds blood, which is afdhal (Better) canceled prayer. Because some scholars consider cancelled ablutions, so he must cancel the prayer and clean it.
