Guide to Tarawih Prayer at Home for Women

Bismillahi assalamualaikum is there anyone who has a guide to the procedure for praying taraweh at home for women ??

Answer:

Wa'alaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.

Bismillah walhamdulillah was sholaatu wassalam'ala Rasulillah, amma ba'du.

Basically, all women's prayers are more Afdhal at home. For 5 times Prayer especially the sunnah. The argument is that hadith from sahabah Ibn Mas'ud's radhiyallahu ' anhu, hadith from the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said,


"Woman Praying in her room, more Afdhal than the prayer in the living room of her house. The prayer of the woman in her special room (where the valuable item is stored, ) Is more important than the prayer in her room. "

More afdhal here, please don't be misunderstood it shouldn't be or the woman can't. More afdhal, meaning greater reward. Of course, we do not say that if, not the argument that shows like this. If we ask our feelings, of course mosques are more important for everyone, men and women. However, Islam is a scientific religion, all based on theorem, which holds great wisdom and benefits for all beings.

Muslims, like the meaning of surrendering, namely surrender entirely to the Qur'an and the Hadith of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam . The catchphrase when meeting the Qur'an and Hadiths should say   "I heard and I obeyed ...!"

One day a woman sahabah named Ummu Humaid - radhiyallahu'anha - once came to see the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam , expressed her feeling,


The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam then replied,

"I know that desire, that you really want to pray jamaah with me. However, your prayer in your room is more important than your prayer in the living room of your house. And your prayer in the living room of your house is more important than your prayer in the front room of your house. Your prayers in the outer space of your house are more important than prayer in your village mosque. Prayers at your village mosque are more important than prayer in my mosque (Nabawi Mosque). "

After hearing this noble advice, Um Humaid asked to build a prayer room in the corner of her room. There she prayed until he met God (died).

Al-Hafidz Ibn Rajab rahimahullah said,

In the hadith from Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu 'anhu narrated by Bukhari,
"The prayer of the man in jamaah is multiplied" "This shows that the female prayer in jamaah in the mosque is not multiplied in reward. Because praying in her home is better and afdhal.

But that does not mean that you (female) cannot pray at the mosque. Especially if the benefits are great, such as listening to tawsiah, more enthusiastic and more capable or concentration'. Then she can maintain the signs of the Shari'ah:

[1] Perfect hijab, do not dress up which invites male attention.

[2]. Do not use perfume when leaving the house.

[3] Get husband's permission.

The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam said,


"Don't prevent your wives from going to the mosque. If they ask your permission, then allow her. " (Narrated by Muslim, no. 442)

Technical Tarawih Prayer for Women at Home

There are at least three ways to pray at home:

[1] Pray alone. Because women are not obliged to pray at the mosque.

[2] Jamaah Prayers with women. 

Together with mother, aunt, daughter or honey. The way a woman becomes a Imam is standing in the middle of a row of shof or shaff, unlike the format of the male jamaah whose Imam is in front.

As the statement from Imam Al Baghowi in the book At Tahzib fi Fiqhil Imam as-Shafi'i,


The female priest's circumcision is in the midst of a row of prayers, as narrated by Imam Al-Baihaqi in through the authentic sanad that Ayesha and Ummah Salamah once believed in praying for a woman's congregation, they stood in the middle of the row of prayers. (At Tahzib, 2/276)

[3] Jamaah Pray with a husband or male relative. 

For fardhu prayers, men must congregate at the mosque. As for the sunnah prayer, it can be done at home. Based on the generality of hadith,


"O All Muslims, pray in your homes. Because someone's most afdhal prayer is done in his house, except the obligatory prayer (5 times prayer). "

But specifically the tarawih prayer, for men it is still more important to do at the mosque. Because that was the practice of the Prophet sallallaahu'alaihi wasallam, he had once prayed tarawih three nights in a row. Then stop for fear Tarawih will become mandatory. And the practice of Khalifah Umar bin Khattab radhiyallahu'anhu, he ordered his people; the friends and tabi'in, perform tarawih congregation in the Nabawi mosque throughout Ramadan.

In the Fatawa Islamqa, the care of Sheikh Muhammad Sholih Al Munajid - hafidzohullah - explained,


The jamaah tarawih prayer of a man in the mosque is more afdhal.
But if he wants to pray alone at home or jamaah with his family, that may be.

By doing the second and third tricks above, namely the jamaah tarawih at home, an Insya Allah woman will get this reward.

From Abu Dzar radhiyallahu 'anhu , he said, "The Prophet sallallaahu'alaihi wasallam said,


"Who is praying with the imam until it is finished, then he is recorded as rewarding for the whole night's prayer (full night)."
(Narrated by Tirmidhi, he said that this hadith is hasan saheeh)
